Recruitment 1000 Home Guard Volunteer Kolkata Police – May 2012

Applications are invited for enrolment of 1000 (One Thousand) Male/Female Home Guard Volunteers under Home Guard Organisation, Kolkata as per the provisions of the West Bengal Home Guard Rules 1962.

Recruitment Details:

• Names of Posts: Home Guard Volunteer
• Number of Vacancies: 1000

Age Limit: Candidate must be between 18 years and 35 years. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 01-06-2012. (Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules).
Eligibility: Minimum Educational Qualifications VIII Class and Physical Standards.

Minimum Physical Standards:

For Male:

• Height: 160CM
• Chest: 76Cm
• Weight: 51 Kgs.

For Female: 

• Height: 154 Cm
• Weight: 44 Kgs

Selection Process:

Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of Physical Measurement, Physical Efficiency Test and Interview.

Eligible candidates need to download application format available on the website (to download click here), fill it with all mandatory details, attest signature, attach photograph superscribe the name of the post to be applied for on the envelope and send it along with two self addressed envelopes with Rs. 5/- stamp each affixed and Copies of all relevant certificates, to the following address, Chairman Enrolment Committee, Kolkata Police Home Guard Organisation, Post Box No – 483, GPO, Kolkata – 700001 on or before 15 days from the date of notification.
